HEINRICH PIERER resigned as chairman of the supervisory board of Siemens in the wake of continuing allegations against several managers and employees.

Siemens is in a "difficult situation due to the in part apparent and in
part alleged misconduct of a number of managers and employees," he
said. "The sole reason for my decision today is to serve the best
interests of Siemens."

    Lo scandalo tedesco (470 mni di euro in tangenti accertati) ha fatto si che in parlamento in Germania qualcuno abbia chiesto la messa in liquidazione dell’azienda. Cosa chiaramente impossibile che accada.
    Ma ci sono profonde radici anche in Italia.
