Non a caso, cinque grossi editori (Hachette Livre, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Penguin e Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holzbrinck) e la stessa Apple sono finiti sotto indagine della Commissione europea con l’accusa «di aver stipulato accordi illegali o messo in atto pratiche anticompetitive con effetti restrittivi sulla concorrenza e la competizione».
