Serial entrepreneur, he founded I.NET, the first italian business Internet Service Provider and Italian pure-internet unicorn, listed on the stock market (IPO 312 times oversubscribed) and sold to BT. He was a founder and (still is) board member of Clusit, Italy’s security association, founder of AIPSI, Italy’s association of security professionals, cofounder and chairman of AIIP, Italy’s ISP association, founder and chairman of Centro Studi Impara Digitale, an association devoted to a positive usage of technologies in schools, Former Chairman of the steering board of the Italian Digital Agency, former member of the High Level Expert Group on AI of the European Commission, former Chairman of the Advisory group on advanced technologies of the UN (CEFACT), Member of the leadership council of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the UN, member of the scientific boards of Bollati & Boringhieri publishing group and of the Copernicani NPO.
